Hochtief: contract for a metro line in Copenhagen
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci announces that Metroselskabet has entrusted the design-construction of its new subway line (line 4 called Sydhavn) in Copenhagen to the consortium equally of Vinci Construction Grands Projets and Hochtief Infrastructure.
The two French and German groups say that under this contract, amounting to 460 million euros and signed on 9 March, the design-build of the new line is planned for a period of six years.
It involves the digging of 4.4 km of tunnel, five underground stations and two ventilation shafts. The works include the electromechanical systems and the architectural state of the stations as well as the ventilation in the tunnels.
