HeidelbergCement: divests businesses in Spain
(CercleFinance.com) - Germany's HeidelbergCement has completed the sale of its aggregates and concrete businesses in the regions of Catalonia, Madrid and Asturias, as well as its concrete business in the Balearic Islands.
The financial terms of these deals were not disclosed.
The disposal of these assets in Spain is part of the portfolio optimisation and margin improvement program of HeidelbergCement's "Beyond 2020" strategy.
HeidelbergCement will continue to supply its clients in other Spanish regions with products from all three business segments - cement, aggregates and concrete.
