Fresenius Med Care: delay in merger with NxStage Medical
(CercleFinance.com) - Fresenius Medical Care has extended the end-date under the merger agreement with NxStage Medical, Inc.
to account for the interruption of the Federal Trade Commission's review of the transaction during the recent US government shutdown.
The German dialysis provider states that this date has now been postponed until 6 August 2019, "or such earlier date on which there has been 60 consecutive days of full funding of the FTC's operations".
