3% at midday today, in demand following a 21% jump in its Q2 net attributable profit to 459 million euros.
Operating profit was also up, climbing 14% relative to the April-June 2016 period, to 1.2 billion euros.
Likewise, the healthcare specialist's revenues increased by 18% to 8.5 billion euros, including 3.54 billion euros in Europe (+29%), where sales were mainly boosted by the integration of Quironsalud, a big network of clinics in Spain, in group accounts, as from February.
