Fraport: Frankfurt airport traffic dips in November
(CercleFinance.com) - Passenger traffic at Frankfurt airport dipped 3.
4% in November to 5.1 million passengers as a two-day strike by Lufthansa cabin staff weighed on numbers, airport operator Fraport said on Friday.
While intercontinental traffic rose by 2.1%, European traffic fell by 6.5%, it said.
Without the strike effect, passenger traffic would have fallen just 1.1% year-on-year, Fraport said.
Due to slightly slower traffic growth in November, the company expects full-year passenger traffic at Frankfurt to grow slightly less than its previous forecast of about 2% to 3%.
Even so, Fraport maintained its financial outlook for full-year 2019.
