Fraport: Frankfurt passenger volume up 2.5% in first quarter
(CercleFinance.com) - Fraport said passenger numbers at Frankfurt airport rose by 2.
5% to almost 14.8 million passengers in the first quarter of 2019, as travel to Africa and South America picked up.
The airport operator said on Friday that Frankfurt passenger volume rose by just 1.4% in March to about 5.6 million passengers, boosted by the earlier timing of the Easter school holidays last year, while they fall in April this year.
The Fraport share was up 0.9% this morning.
