Fraport: profit tops forecasts; guidance reiterated
(CercleFinance.com) - German airport operator Fraport earned more than expected in the first nine months of 2018, boosted by strong passenger growth, and the strength of its international portfolio.
The group's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) in the nine months to September rose by 9% to 880.4 million euros, it said.
Revenue grew by 14.3% to 2.5 billion euros.
The group reiterated its 2018 earnings estimates.
Fraport's shares are currently up 2.4% at 69.5 euros, outperforming a 1.1% rise in the mid-cap MDAX index in Frankfurt.
