Fraport: robust traffic growth in May

5% rise in May passenger traffic at its main hub in Frankfurt, citing more holiday weekends and school breaks over the past month.
Fraport said that increased capacity on European routes also spurred passenger growth, noting that Frankfurt welcomed in total some 6.1 million passengers last month.
During the January-to-May period, Frankfurt airport achieved accumulated passenger growth of 8.9%, it added.
The Fraport share was up 3.9% in Frankfurt following the release of these figures for May.
