Fraport: Frankfurt April passenger volume up 5.8%
(CercleFinance.com) - Fraport said passenger numbers at Frankfurt airport rose 5.
8% in April, to some 5.7 million passengers, as European traffic continued to pick up.
Excluding strikes and weather-related flight cancellations, passenger numbers would have even risen by 7.2%, the German airport operator said.
Over the period January-to-April, Frankfurt achieved accumulated growth of 8.7%, with European traffic (+10.8%) still its main driver, Fraport said.
The shares were broadly unchanged (+0.1%) after these numbers.
