Deutsche Telekom: increases adjusted EBITDA target

(CercleFinance.com) - Deutsche Telekom has raised its FY 2018 adjusted EBITDA target to around 23.
4 billion euros at constant exchange rates (compared to 23.2 billion euros at the start of the year), due to a positive earnings momentum at the end of the year in the US.

The German incumbent telecom operator has published Q2 2018 adjusted net profit that is up 3.3% at 1.24 billion euros, with stable adjusted EBITDA (-0.3%) at 5.93 billion euros, although up 3.9% in organic terms.

At 18.4 billion euros, sales fell by 2.8% as reported, although increased by 1.3% in organic terms. Reaching 1.5 billion euros, the group's free cash flow is 16.4% higher than in the same period last year.
