Deutsche Telekom: raises annual target.

(CercleFinance.com) - The Deutsche Telekom stock is up 1.
2% in Frankfurt today, after the group increased its FY 2017 adjusted EBITDA target to 22.3 billion euros, against 22.2 billion euros initially, mainly thanks to growth in the US.

The German telecom operator's Q2 earnings rose 41% to 874 million euros, while its adjusted EBITDA climbed by 9% to almost 5.9 billion euros, on net revenues that are up 6% at 18.9 billion euros.

“Revenue and earnings are lifting substantially on the back of this strong customer growth," says CFO Thomas Dannenfeldt. "That is especially true of our booming US business, but the trend is also positive in Germany and our European companies."
