Deutsche Post: in the dumps after quarterly results
(CercleFinance.com) - The Deutsche Post-DHL share is down over 5% in Frankfurt, after the postal and logistics group published Q3 results, even though EPS rose by 53.
3% to 0.69 euro, thereby exceeding the consensus.
The group's operating profit rose by 46.2% to 1.38 billion euros, for revenues that are up 4.4% at over 16.2 billion euros. In organic terms, the German group's revenues increased by 9%, thanks to dynamic online business.
Based on strong free cash flow since the start of 2020, Deutsche Post's management has raised its FCF target for FY 2020, now expecting over two billion euros
