Deutsche Post: Jefferies upgrades stock.
(CercleFinance.com) - Broker Jefferies has upgraded its rating on Deutsche Post-DHL from "hold" to "buy" and has raised its target price from 30 euros to 40 euros, in particular reflecting an increased profitability at its DHL Forwarding & Freight division - at 5% over the longer term.
The broker highlights the performance of the PeP (post, e-commerce and packages) and DHL Express divisions, "compensating for a delayed recovery of DHL Forwarding & Freight, caused by unprecedented, but temporary yield pressure".
Jefferies assumes Strategy 2020 targets will be met by the German group, with relatively steeper profitability recovery for DHL Forwarding & Freight and PeP International.
