Continental: towards a flotation of businesses?
(CercleFinance.com) - Continental could float its rubber and powertrain businesses by the end of the year, while retaining majority stakes in these activities, according to broker Bryan Garnier, which quotes the monthly magazine Manager Magazin.
The broker also reports that the Hanover-based automotive supplier, "maintaining full control of the combination of chassis & safety and interior units as well as services related to the autonomous vehicle".
In support of these rumours, Bryan Garnier has reported recent comments, confirmed by the CEO at the Consumer Electronic Show, about a "possible structural overhaul to better adapt the group to megatrends."
