BMW: profit up almost a half to E18.5bn
(CercleFinance.com) - BMW Group has announced that it has achieved its targets for 2022.
The premium carmaker significantly increased the group's EBT (23,509 million euros/+46.4%) and net profit (18,582 million euros/+49.1%) compared to the previous year.
Group revenues rose 28.2 % to 142,610 million euros.
BMW believes that this positive performance can be attributed to improved prices and positive product mix effects, as well as to the full consolidation of the Chinese joint venture, BMW Brilliance Automotive (BBA).
This shows that those who approach transformation with a high level of flexibility can achieve strong performance, even in volatile conditions. We will continue on this path in the future, management said.
