BMW: sales flat in July
(CercleFinance.com) - BMW Group announces that it has delivered 181,051 vehicles to its customers under its BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce brands in July, virtually flat (+0.
2%) compared to the same period in 2017. Since the beginning of 2018, deliveries have therefore increased 1.6% to 1,423,565.
"Each of the three major regions (Europe, Asia, the Americas) contributed to the group's sales growth over the first seven months of the year, despite significant headwinds in some significant markets," the group said.
The upmarket car maker points out that sales of the BMW brand grew in July, with sales of the BMW X3 up 52.3%, thanks to the ramp-up of production in China.
