BMW: '320d model fully compliant with legal requirements'
(CercleFinance.com) - BMW has announced that the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) has published test results on the BMW 320d, confirming its compliance with all legal requirements.
This follows criticism of emissions' performance in December 2017 by environmental lobby group “Deutsche Umwelthilfe”.
After recent rigging scandals in the automobile industry, Klaus Fröhlich, responsible for development at BMW, said that: “BMW Group vehicles are not manipulated and comply with all respective legal requirements. Our diesel engines are clean.”
The group said that "the test results show that BMW Group has no illegal activities or made any technical provisions that influence the recording of emissions".
