BMW: record global sales for Motorrad in 2017

2% increase in sales of its Motorrad brand in 2017, at 164,153 units, against 145,032 the previous year.
This substantial rise confirms the Munich car maker's target of selling 200,000 units by 2020.
Motorrad's sales increased by 7.1% in Germany to 26,664, 17.3% in Italy to 14,430, 17.6% in Spain to 11,193 and 8.7% in the UK at 9,550. Across Europe as a whole, they rose by around 15%.
BMW also announced an increase in Motorrad sales in Asia, coupled with a good start in India.
