BMW: record Motorrad sales in France in 2017
(CercleFinance.com) - BMW Motorrad finished 2017 with new record sales - for the fifth year in a row.
16,020 BMW motorcycles, maxi-scooters and electric scooters were registered at the end of December, against 13,603 in 2016, up 17.8% in a global market that was down 1.3%, the Munich based automotive maker said on Wednesday.
BMW Motorrad has also confirmed its leading place in the segment of more than 750 cubic centimetres, with a market share of 25% of, in addition to its second place in the segment of more than 500 cubic centimetres in France, with a market share of 17.3% for the year ended.
France is the second largest market for the BMW Motorrad brand after Germany, ahead of both the United States and Italy.
