BMW: amongst SocGen's 13 picks for 2018
(CercleFinance.com) - Germany's BMW, France's Publicis and Switzerland's Novartis feature amongst the 13 European stocks chosen by Societe Generale's strategists for 2018, the French bank said on Wednesday.
SocGen said it maintains a strong bias toward core eurozone countries, with three financial stocks in the Premium List: AXA, Credit Agricole and ABN Amro.
Also betting on improved consumer confidence, SG has included four consumer discretionary stocks in its list: Accor, Publicis, BMW and Renault.
In commodity-related names, the analysts have picked Total, Glencore and Thyssenkrupp, along with construction materials group CRH.
SocGen has also rised its exposure to Pharmaceuticals, with Novartis and the IT sector, with SAP.
