(CercleFinance.com) - German premium car maker BMW said on Friday that group sales in September rose by 0.
8% to 239,764 vehicles, a record for that month.
The company said that the BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce brands sales totalled 1,811,234 vehicles, up 3.7% over the first nine months of the year.
This figure also represented a best-ever number for the period, BMW said, despite the ongoing changes in the BMW X3 SUV model.
BMW Group said electrified sales topped the 10,000 threshold in September, with electrified vehicles sales in the first nine months of 2017 now being higher than in whole of 2016.
