BMW group: E400m to expand R&D centre.
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday BMW Group laid the foundation stone for the extension of its research and innovation centre in Munich (Bavaria, Germany), called the FIZ.
The group has invested 400 million euros in this project, which will expand the R&D centre by 50%, said the Munich based car maker.
As from 2019, 5,000 researchers and other employees will work in this new 157,000 square-metre infrastructure dedicated to the development of future mobility.
