Deutsche Telecom: EU clears acquisition of DFMG
(CercleFinance.com) - Under EU merger regulations the European Commission has cleared the acquisition of joint control of DFMG Holding by Deutsche Telekom, both from Germany, DigitalBridge of the US and Brookfield Asset Management of Canada.
DFMG owns and operates a passive wireless telecommunications infrastructure and provides telecommunications infrastructure hosting services in Germany and Austria.
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not give rise to any competition concerns in the European Economic Area, given the absence of horizontal overlaps and vertical relationships between the companies' activities.
