Deutsche Bank: former UBS exec appointed to supervisory boar
(CercleFinance.com) - Deutsche Bank announced on Thursday the co-optation of Jürg Zeltner, a former senior executive of the Swiss investment bank UBS, on its supervisory board.
In a statement, the German banking group says Zeltner succeeds Richard Meddings, who has resigned after four years on the board.
Zeltner, who has long headed UBS' wealth management business, will be considered a "non-independent" member of the board, argues Deutsche Bank, as he currently chairs KBL European Private Bankers, a Luxembourg based bank sharing the same Qatari shareholding as Deutsche Bank.
