The platform has been designed in close collaboration with a wide range of partners, including watch and jewellery manufacturers, law enforcement agencies, insurance companies, the second-hand market and customers, Richemont said.
This trusted space allows watch and jewellery information to be securely uploaded, searched and shared by multiple parties, while protecting the identity of customers.
All data is used solely to facilitate the identification of lost or stolen items, making it more difficult to buy and resell these items.
