Adecco: creates new chief digital officer role
(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss staffing group Adecco has appointed a former executive of PayPal and Nokia to the newly created role of chief digital officer, focused on the company's new digital businesses.
The newly named executive, Finnish Teppo Paavola, will oversee Adecco's portfolio of fast-growing digital businesses, including platforms Adia, Vettery and YOSS.
He will be responsible for expanding the company's businesses and strengthening its digital HR landscape in the future, Adecco said.
Teppo Paavola was most recently chief development officer and general manager of new digital businesses at Spanish bank BBVA Group, after working at PayPal, Nokia and GE Capital.
