Julius Baer: partnership with Nomura in Japan
(CercleFinance.com) - The leading wealth manager in Switzerland, Julius Baer will sell 40% of the capital of its Japanese subsidiary, Julius Baer Wealth Management (JBWM) to the local financial group Nomura.
Julius Baer registered the transaction as part of a "strategic partnership" with Nomura which aims to enable it to access the Japanese financial giant's very high-end local clientele.
Once the transaction is complete, JBWM will be called Julius Baer Nomura Wealth Management.
