Julius Baer: 10-month assets under management up 17%.

(CercleFinance.com) - Julius Baer has seen assets under management grow by 17% in the first ten months of the year, the Swiss wealth manager said on Monday.

This rise was driven by significant net inflows and the euro's appreciation against the Swiss franc, the private bank said, also citing a "particularly strong" momentum in emerging markets and Asia-Pacific.

The group also said that its cost/income ratio continued to improve towards the 64-68% medium-term target range, falling below 69% for the first ten months of the year.

After this update, Zurich-listed Julius Baer shares were up 1.6%, currently flirting with the 60 Swiss franc threshold.
