Nestlé: joins the European Clean Trucking Alliance
(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé is joining the European Clean Trucking Alliance to support the decarbonisation of road freight transport in the EU and encourage its ecological transition.
This unique European coalition brings together NGOs, shippers, logistics and consumer goods companies.
A further reduction of CO2 and air pollutant emissions from road transport will help to achieve the objectives of the European Green Deal and make Europe the first carbon-neutral continent, the group said.
It added that improving the efficiency of our transport and distribution is crucial if it is to halve emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
