Nestlé: launches new expanded Milo plant in Malaysia
(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé has opened a new expanded plant in Malaysia, which will be the world's biggest factory for its malt drink Milo, the Swiss food giant said late on Wednesday.
The company launched its expanded Chembong factory, which will increase capacity by 30% to meet growing demand in over 20 countries for the chocolate beverage.
The factory started operations in 1993 and currently employs the largest workforce amongst the six Nestlé factories in Malaysia - a key market for Nestlé.
