Nestlé: Liberum maintains 'hold' as growth accelerates
(CercleFinance.com) - Liberum maintains its "hold" rating on the Nestlé share, with a target price of 95 Swiss francs, after the Swiss agrifood giant said organic sales growth accelerated to 3.
9% in the second quarter.
"CEO Mark Schneider's efforts to shift the group's focus toward a better balance between margin expansion and top-line growth are slowly bearing fruit," the British broker writes in a note.
According to Liberum, a slimmed down portfolio focused on high-growth markets should lead to further improvement, and the broker encourages an accelerated pace of change as Nestlé's high-growth categories also carry higher margins.
The Nestlé share is currently up about 1.8% at 104 Swiss francs in Zurich.
