Nestlé: infant nutrition business reorganised.

(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé has decided to change the organisation of its key infant nutrition business, with the deputy executive vice president in charge of the unit set to leave the company at the end of the year.

Heiko Schipper - who has decided to pursue other interests outside Nestlé - will leave the company at the end of 2017.

He will not be replaced after the reorganisation of this business, with the division now moving from a globally-managed structure to a regionally-managed business.

The new organisation is intended to allow Nestlé's infant nutrition business to deliver accelerated organic growth and make further efficiency gains in this high-growth category, the Swiss group said.

Nestlé also said that its chief technology officer, Stefan Catsicas, has decided to pursue entrepreneurial and venture capital activities outside of the company.

He will be replaced by Stefan Palzer, who is currently Head of the Nestlé Research Center.
