Logitech: Jerry still evading Tom with 'reassuring' outlook

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Swiss computer mouse maker Logitech raised its forecasts for the current fiscal year at a virtual meeting held with analysts and investors.

For its full-year to end-March, Logitech now expects sales to jump around 63% at constant exchange rates, against the 57% to 60% range provided previously.

It expects operating profit to come in at around 1.1 billion dollars, against the 1.05 billion dollars previously announced.

In a statement, the computer accessories manufacturer explains that it is benefiting from the acceleration of trends that are favourable to it, such as distance-working, video collaboration, e-sport and digital creation.

After this "exceptional" year, according to the Swiss group, sales growth in FY 2022 should be pretty flat, while operating profit is expected to be between 750 and 800 million dollars.

Les analystes mettent néanmoins en évidence des perspectives "rassurantes" et l'action Logitech progressait de plus de 1% ce lundi à la Bourse de Zurich.

Analysts nevertheless point to a "reassuring" outlook: the Logitech share rose is up around 1% on Monday morning in Zurich.
