Logitech: ends acquisition talks with Plantronics
(CercleFinance.com) - Logitech has ended talks to buy California-based headset maker Plantronics, the Swiss manufacturer of PC components and accessories said on Thursday.
In a statement in response to "media reports", Logitech confirmed it was engaged in discussions with Plantronics regarding a potential transaction.
"However, those discussions were terminated," it said, adding that it did not intend to make any further comments.
The shares jumped 5% to 34 Swiss francs after this announcement was made.
