Dufry: wins Spanish airport concession extension
(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss travel retailer Dufry said on Wednesday that it has won a concession to operate duty-free shops at 25 Spanish airports for up to five more years.
The newly extended contract with Spanish airport operator Aena includes an initial duration of three years and an option to further extend the contract in two steps of one year at the time, potentially extending the deal until 2025, Dufry said in a statement.
The reaction amongst investors, however, was mixed, with Dufry shares down 0.8% in Zurich this morning.
