Dufry: opens duty free shop on Brazil's border
(CercleFinance.com) - Dufry has announced opening of its first duty free border shop in Brazil, with a surface area of 850 m2, found in Uruguaiana, one of the largest cities in southern Brazil, on its border with Argentina.
"The shop offers an assortment of prestige international brands similar to those seen in Dufry's airport shops around the world," the Swiss duty free retailer said.
The group points out that with the new regulations in Brazil, there are a total of 32 twin cities in the country where duty-free border shops may be operated, with Dufry intending to set up outlets in each of them.
