ABB: shareholders approve Accelleron demerger
(CercleFinance.com) - ABB shareholders have approved the proposed spin-off of its Accelleron turbo-compression division at ABB's EGM held in Zurich today.
ABB will distribute one Accelleron share for every 20 ABB shares held to its shareholders as a pro-rata dividend in kind.
Accelleron helps provide sustainable, efficient and reliable power to the marine, power, rail and off-highway vehicle industries. Accelleron has an installed base of approximately 180,000 turbochargers and a network of over 100 service stations in 50 different countries.
