ABB: to supply charging stations for Basel's buses
(CercleFinance.com) - This morning ABB announced that the city of Basel (Switzerland) has chosen its charging technology for its electric buses.
ABB will provide the city with a complete solution for charging stations and all the necessary network connection hardware, including software for the management and service of the charging infrastructure.
The contract was awarded to ABB by electricity supplier and distributor Industrielle Werke Basel (IWB), as the city aims to convert its entire public transport bus fleet to electric by 2027.
The financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
For this reason, or another, the share is currently up 2% in Zurich.
