ABB: new distribution center in Phoenix
(CercleFinance.com) - ABB said on Tuesday that its US electrical product division has made inaugural shipments from a new distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona.
The new facility, which will supply products to distributors, contractors, and industrial customers in the west of North America, is intended to cut delivery times by up to 50%, the Swiss engineering group said.
More than 2,000 products from across its electrification portfolio will be stocked at this new logistics center.
The plant will be fully operational in the third quarter of 2020, ABB said.
