ABB: completes acquisition of Chinese EV charging firm
(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss engineering group ABB said that it has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Chinese e-mobility solution provider Chargedot, a deal originally announced in October 2019.
Since its establishment in 2009, Chargedot has made a "significant contribution" to the uptake of electric vehicles in China, supplying AC and DC charging stations, as well as a software platform for consumers, ABB said.
The Shanghai-based firm has about 200 employees.
