ABB: chosen by Chinese power giant for predictive solution
(CercleFinance.com) - China's second largest electricity company has selected ABB to improve the operational efficiency and increase thz longevity of its electrical grid, the Swiss engineering group said on Friday.
This predictive maintenance software solution will enable China Southern Power Grid (CSG), which serves over 250 million people, to track real-time data based on the performance of transformers and other power assets, it said.
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
