ABB: signs memorandum of understanding with Ericsson
(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss engineering company ABB and Swedish telecoms gear maker Ericsson have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate in connected services, industrial IoT and artificial intelligence technologies, ABB said on Monday.
Ericsson and ABB - which have already been collaborating on research for 5G and industrial IoT technologies - will now focus on topics such as advanced automation, wireless communication, digitalization, and manufacturing, ABB added.
This announcement was made at the Hannover Messe trade fair today.
