ABB: unveils collaborations with Amazon and Sonos for home.
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday Swiss engineering group ABB unveiled two collaboration deals with e-commerce giant Amazon and wireless home audio company Sonos on the home automation market.
Amazon Alexa and Sonos solutions will now be integrated within ABB's open home automation platform which lets users control up to 65 functions including lighting, blinds, security and heating via tablets or smartphones.
This announcement was made at IFA, Berlin's electronics trade show, today.
