Holcim: up after JSW Group rumours
(CercleFinance.com) - Holcim's shares have risen by almost 3% after the FT reported that JSW Group has made an offer for Holcim's Indian operations.
Indian industrialist Sajjan Jindal's JSW Group intends to make a 7 billion dollar bid for Holcom's Indian subsidiaries, the FT says.
JSW would contribute 4.5 billion dollars, while various financial partners would provide the remaining 2.5 billion dollars, Invest Securities reported this morning.
Last week, there were rumours of a sale of Ambuja Cements to Indian billionaire Gautam Adani. The price mentioned at the time was 10 billion dollars. The cement company did not comment on the rumours, the broker added.
