LafargeHolcim: measures to cut expenditure
(CercleFinance.com) - Due to the coronavirus pandemic, LafargeHolcim is announcing a series of measures to adapt to the current situation, including at least a 400 million Swiss franc reduction in its capex relative to 2019.
The Franco-Swiss building materials supplier will also reduce its fixed costs by at least 300 million Swiss francs in 2020, as well as its net working capital at least in line with business levels.
However, it boasts strong liquidity of eight billion Swiss francs as at 26 March, and confirms that it will hold its AGM on 12 May, in addition to confirming its proposed cash dividend of two Swiss francs per share.
