LafargeHolcim: completes two bolt-on acquisitions
(CercleFinance.com) - LafargeHolcim has announced the acquisition of Transit Mix Concrete Co, a supplier of building materials in the US state of Colorado, which operates seven ready-mix concrete plants and a sand quarry, with over 180 employees.
The Franco-Swiss building materials group has also announced acquiring Alfons Greten Betonwerk, which operates two factories in the German state of Lower Saxony which has around 100 employees.
“In line with our Strategy 2022 - 'Building for Growth', these acquisitions will generate synergies with LafargeHolcim's existing operations. With these further bolt-on acquisitions we are delivering on our commitment to accelerate growth in the Ready-Mix Concrete and Aggregates segments," said CEO Jan Jenisch.
