LafargeHolcim: to close offices in Zurich and Paris
(CercleFinance.com) - As part of the simplification of its organisation, LafargeHolcim has announced additional measures that will affect about 200 jobs at its central functions, with the closure of offices in Paris and Zurich.
The remaining posts in Switzerland will be transferred to the Holderbank site and a new office in Zug. In Paris, the remaining posts would be transferred to Clamart, in the Parisian suburbs. This project is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
After this occurs, the Franco-Swiss building materials group will be on track to achieve its announced target of reducing overheads by 400 million Swiss francs by the first quarter of 2019.
