Adecco: acquires full ownership of Akka
(CercleFinance.com) - Adecco Group announced on Friday that it had acquired full ownership of Akka Technologies, on which it launched a takeover bid last year.
In a statement this morning, the Swiss temping giant said that 604,672 shares had been tendered over the acceptance period (21 April to last Wednesday) of the simplified takeover bid, representing 5.9% of the consulting company's capital.
Adecco specifies that all the securities that were not tendered to the offer will be transferred to it via its subsidiary Modis, with the funds necessary to pay the offer price of these securities being deposited with the Caisse des dépôts et consignations.
As a result, shares issued by Akka were delisted yesterday from Euronext Brussels and Euronext Paris (and from Frankfurt for its convertible bonds).
