Adecco: new appointments in the executive committee.
(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss staffing group Adecco today announced the appointments of Franz-Josef Schürmann as chief sales and innovation officer and Mark De Smedt as regional head of the extended Northern Europe.
Aged 48, Franz-Josef Schürmann, a German national, joined the firm's executive committee in 2016 as regional head of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Since he joined the company, Franz-Josef Schürmann has driven the group's innovation projects, capitalising on his experience and expertise in the technology sector, the provider of workforce solutions said.
As for Mark De Smedt — who has been regional head of Northern Europe, comprising Benelux and Nordics, since 2016 and an executive committee member since 2014 — the executive has been given "expanded responsibilities" in the region, Adecco said.
