Credit Suisse: names Kinner Lakhani as head of strategy
(CercleFinance.com) - Credit Suisse has named investment banker Kinner Lakhani as its head of strategy and development, according to a media statement on Wednesday.
Lakhani joins from Deutsche Bank, where he was head of European company research and advisory, as well as head of European financials research.
He joined the German bank from Citigroup in 2015, where he was co-head of the European banks research team.
In the statement, Credit Suisse said he has covered the banking sector for more than two decades, with previous roles at ABN Amro and Morgan Stanley.
Lakhani will be based in Zurich and will report into CEO Tidjane Thiam.
